Insurance & Fees

Understanding the financial aspect of therapy is an important part of choosing the right support. At Positive Pathways Counseling, we strive to be transparent and straightforward about insurance and payment options so you can make informed decisions about your care.

All services are provided through secure telehealth for clients located throughout Florida.

Insurance

We accept select insurance plans such as Aetna, Florida Blue (BCBS), Cigna, Medicaid, Tricare East, Optum/United Healthcare, and are happy to help you understand your coverage.

In-network insurance plans include:

Other plans may be accepted depending on provider availability.

Coverage varies by plan and provider. We encourage clients to contact their insurance company directly to confirm benefits, co-pays, deductibles, and any authorization requirements.

If you have questions about whether your insurance is accepted, please feel free to reach out — we’re happy to help.

Out-of-Network & Superbills

If we are not in-network with your insurance plan, we can provide a superbill upon request. This may allow you to seek partial reimbursement directly from your insurance provider, depending on your plan’s out-of-network benefits.

Please note that reimbursement is not guaranteed and varies by plan.

Good Faith Estimate (Florida & Federal Compliance)

In accordance with the No Surprises Act, clients who are not using insurance or who are self-pay have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges for mental health services.

A Good Faith Estimate provides an anticipated cost of services based on the information available at the time of scheduling. This estimate will be provided prior to the start of services or upon request.

If you receive a bill that is substantially higher than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the charges in accordance with federal guidelines.
