Your Partners in Growth and Healing

I’m Martina Hines, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor dedicated to helping individuals find healing, balance, and resilience. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting people from all walks of life through some of their most challenging moments. My background includes working in an outpatient setting helping individuals overcome addiction, serving as a Dependency Case Manager supporting children and families under DCF supervision, and advocating for survivors of domestic violence through the legal system.

These experiences have shaped my understanding of how trauma, stress, and life transitions can impact emotional well-being. In my practice, I work with clients navigating depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, co-occurring disorders, and major life adjustments.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based techniques. I believe therapy is a space for growth and empowerment—a place where clients can gain insight, build coping tools, and rediscover their strengths. Together, we work toward creating meaningful change and improving overall quality of life.

Hi, I’m Ally. For over 25 years, I worked as a neonatal nurse practitioner, supporting women and families through some of life’s most challenging and tender moments. Those experiences taught me just how deeply events like NICU stays, postpartum depression, or the loss of a child can affect people—and how powerful compassionate, informed support can be in healing.

Now, as a mental health counselor, I’m passionate about helping people from all walks of life navigate the ups and downs that come with being human. Whether you’re coping with anxiety, grief, relationship struggles, or feeling burned out, my goal is to help you find clarity, calm, and renewed balance. I use a blend of evidence-based therapy and holistic practices—like mindfulness, breathwork, and meditation—to meet you where you are and support your growth.

Many people feel overwhelmed by chronic stress, burnout, or a nervous system that seems constantly in overdrive. I support individuals and couples through these challenges, offering a safe and compassionate space to heal emotional wounds, regulate the nervous system, and rebuild resilience.

I specialize in trauma and relational health, addressing concerns such as divorce recovery, infidelity, sexual trauma, and complex family dynamics. My approach is collaborative and trauma-informed, integrating practical techniques for managing stress, anxiety, and emotional dysregulation.

Drawing on evidence-based modalities—including EMDR for trauma, anxiety, and PTSD; the Gottman Method for couples; and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Mindfulness-Based Interventions—I provide clients with a tailored roadmap for healing. Through this work, I also help clients develop practical coping skills, strengthen communication, and move from a state of exhaustion to one of empowered calm and authentic connection.
